April Bowlby

April Bowlby is an American model and actress. Her roles included Kandi, Stacy Barrett and Rita Farr from the CBS Comedy Series Two and a Half Men. April Michelle Bowlby (born April Michelle Bowlby) is an American actress most well-known for her role as Stacy Barrett in Drop Dead Diva and Kandi the sitcom on TV Two and a Half Men. Following her start as a model, she then moved to the world of film and television. Following her appearance as an extra to the series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and single-episode roles in several different shows, her first role on television was in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Then she landed the breakout character of Kandi on Two and a Half Men. Bowlby's role as Stacy Barrett on the series Drop Dead Diva earned her fame throughout the world. She played the character of Rita Farr/Elastigirl. She was a frequent character in the American show Titans. In a spin-off show from Doom Patrol, she will reprise the role. Bowlby appeared in TV movies like Sands of Oblivion or The Wrong Daughter. Her big screen debut came with the film All Roads Lead Home and then appeared in other films including The Slammin Salmon and From Prada to Nada. She went to East Union High School. After completing ballet classes and French in Moorpark College, Bowlby decided to pursue an acting profession. She studied with Ivana Chaubbuck. She was offered a part in a television program (Kandi, Two and a Half Men) just a few months after the Hollywood audition. Bowlby is well-known for her appearances in various TV shows, including CSI (as Kaitlin in 2004), CSI: NY (as Jenny Lee in 2006), Freddie: Sydney in 2005, Stacked: Jasmine in 2007, and How I Met Your Mother: Meg in 2007. Recently, Bowlby played the part as Natasha as Natasha in All Roads Lead Home a 2007 film about a 12-year-old year old girl who loses her mother in a car collision. Bowlby is starring in the 2008 comedic movie The Slammin Salmon as Mia. Los Angeles is her home. Naturally red-haired, she is blue-eyed. She is a single woman without children.
