Angela Sun

Angela Sun is a journalist film maker, documentary journalist and television host. Angela Sun has been a journalist, sportscaster, producer and actress since being born in Santa Clara County California on the 19th of October. Her education includes Communications and Sociology from the University of California. Sun has excellent surfing abilities. She participated in various pro-am Surf competitions which led to sponsorship deals with brands such as Roxy Reef Billabong Vans. Recognition she gained through this was a slingshot to propel her into the business of entertainment. Later, she became an investigative sportscaster and film director. Sun is an anchor, who worked for various news networks. She worked for Fox Sports Net as a reporter from 2003. She also been host of American Ninja Warrior alongside Matt Iseman and Jonny Moseley back in 2012. Sun hosted The Yahoo Sports Minute during 2014. She is also among the first Asian American star to be a part of the show at ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports Tennis Channel. Sun is a regular in a number of films, and earned not only praise but also fame for her acting talent. She has appeared in many movies, such as Goliath (2017) Hit the Floor (2014-2016), A Perfect Getaway (2009) Shackled (2015) Street Kings (2008) and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2005). Sun was the one who penned and directed her documentary Platic Paradise The Great Pacific Garbage Patch about ocean plastic pollution and its environmental effects in 2014, has released the feature-length film.
